Summer be gone...

errrrrrday

I am currently loving this look, Camo teamed with basics.. simple but effective!

It is always hard knowing what to wear as summer leaves and it gets slightly cooler && you definitely can't go wrong with a simple tee and jeans for an every day look.

I am totally loving the Adidas superstars at the moment, I know its like the 'insta famous' footwear to be had but personally i think they look fab with jeans!!

I have my eye on a pair I saw on blogger Sarah Ashcroft

Dirty Looks Weave

H A P P Y E A S T E R * D O L L S

I hope everyone had an amazing Easter and fully enjoyed your hot cross buns, choccy and the enjoyed the bit of sun that came out!!

I've been meaning to do this post for the last week.. not sure why I haven't lazy little moo over here!!

As a major fan of long flowy mermaid hair the time had come to remove the last of my keratin bond extensions and give my natural hair a break!!.. I had slowly began to start chopping the length off the extensions to prepare me for shorter hair again!!

I have been using keratin protein bonded extensions for the last couple of years, beautifully done by one of my friends and made the life of my hair much more easier than having to faff around with clip in extensions which I had been using previous since the age of 16.

I had one of those terrible nightmare trips to the salon when I was about 17 and she cut loads of my hair off and left it pretty short, I was so upset!! Being a platinum blonde at the time growing my hair was never easy and i genuinely didn't have the best hair growth so extensions always helped me out!

I can happily say now my hair is finally on the mend after a good few years haha and I truly believed by having my bonds in helped the growth majorly as I didn't have to play around with my hair so much, it was easier to chuck it up and it would still look half OK!.. which when you don't have a lot of length and thickness to your hair on me personally I don't feel very confident ..((I feel like I have a big moon face!!!)) Also going brunette and eating a lot more healthier than I probably did back a few years ago has helped with my hair journey!

Now I have been embracing the shorter hair recently and its been so nice to have a lighter head of hair but being a girly girl who loves long pretty hair I was on the hunt for some new clip-in extensions to wear of an evening or when i fancy a more glam hair day!!

I find that it is very hard to find a good set of extensions at the moment, some are way over priced for what you get and some claim to be a 'full head' when they are more a half head, especially the longer ones, so thin and pointless!! ..

So I was a on a hair mission!!!!... After scanning the internet I came across Dirty Look Extensions... I was intrigued.. trip wefts, quad wefts.. the grams of the hair... wow!! I was impressed!! I told one of my girls about my find and she told me she had actually got some herself recently.. SOLD!!...

I went for the 'BOBBY GLAM FULL HEAD EXTENSIONS TRIPLE WEFT'  This is amazing quality Remy human hair. Its comes in an array of colours, the thickness of this hair is unreal (180 grams of hair for a 20/22inch length), the hair doesn't pull too much, it doesn't feel too heavy and is very easy to style.

I couldn't be happier with a set of extensions! They are a little on the pricey side but you pay for the quality of the hair and you well and truly get your pennies worth!! I won't be using them every day so I believe they will last me a pretty long time.

The extensions come as picture below...Such cute packaging!!

You get a sample clip of hair to check the colour matches before you take out the whole lot, which I think is a fab idea!It is important especially when your spending money on hair, as you don't want to order the wrong colour and not be able to change it!!!

My Mya Story

I have already posted about this a couple years ago, but thought I would revamp and upload a new post...

I thought I would share my MYA Story as I know surgery can seem a rather daunting experience for most! It seems in the last few years this procedure is ever growing year after year, When I had mine done I was only 19 ((6 Years ago now)) and it wasn't seen as a thing to be getting done, I had loads of girls say nasty things about me which at the time being only 19 wasn't the best too deal with, but I made the decision to get them done and proudly showed them off ((prob's more than I should of)) regardless of people being mean! They soon got over it...yaa knowwww now it being 2015
it seems to be the norm thing to do,

Whether it be a new pair of boobs, fillers in lips, FILLERS IN CHEEEEEEKS I've seen recently (my face would look so odd!), a bit of botox to keep that youthful wrinkle free skin or semi perm makeup.. everyone's doing something it seems..

Now me personally I have only had my boobs done ((THE ONCE)) not 3/4/5 times as I have been accused of in the past! and I had a wonderful experience with MYA so i thought i would share it with you girls!...

This procedure, I have no regrets and I am still happy to this day with the results!

I had my consultation with one of the MYA Dolls and then after choosing to go ahead I got to meet my surgeon DR Singh, where I got the chance to discuss the procedure in full, the pre op and post op bits and bobs, I tried on a bra with different implant sizes in to see what would suit my shape and size and my current boobie size! I was a small 32C originally but more fuller at the bottom of my boobies and wanted to be slightly bigger and fuller on the top to suit my figure. So we came to the decision to go for a 525CC's, I had mine over the muscle due to already having natural breast tissue and the size of the implant.  The 525cc's post surgery gave me a cup size of 32E/F depending on bra's from various places, I am a little slimmer than I use to be so more a DD now due to obviously losing natural breast tissue when losing a few pounds.

I did my research when choosing the right place to go to have my boobs done, this was really important to me, at the time Harley Street Medical was the place to go, MYA wasn't as well known as it is now but after reading a few reviews and reading a lot about Dr Singh my mind was made up!

Now.. pain scale 1-10 for the first couple of days was about a 8 (10 being lots of pain) but I think this was a lot down to the fact I didn't take the painkillers as they made me feel pretty sick! My back was probs more in pain than my boobies as I had to sleep upright otherwise there was no way I was getting out of bed on my own!! That was a killer!! I returned to work after a week off just taking it easy, I worked on Dior Make up counter at the time so I didn't have too many strenuous tasks to do!.... I kept my sports bra on religiously for the first year. I think this is really important just to keep your boobs in place otherwise I have heard from a lot of girls that when they were slacking with the sports bra and going out without a bra due to the fact they had new boooooobs, the implants would drop a lot quicker sometimes leaving them looking lower than they should be sitting!

Remember you need to give your boobs time to heal!!!

I did have stretch marks to begin with but they say if they are more of a reddish tone they do tend to fade quickly, mine did, PHEW with the help of a bit of bio oil and I think down to the fact I liked to use a gradual moisturizing tan at the time it all helped! So not to fear if you do get them after surgery, its not a big deal, they will fade if you look after your skin.

left - pre op natural / Right - post op 3 months

I use to want to have them done bigger around the age of 21 when I went through my crazy blonde barbie stage, but so glad I didn't, I am happy with them now and actually wish I didn't have them any more but heyyyy us girls are never happy are we!?

Those eyes baby...

I have been wearing false lashes for a couple of years now. I am addicted to them, I think they enhance your eyes and make them look super pretty! I have tried every brand expensive to cheap and had nightmares with these little buggers and finding the perfect pair to suit my eye shape etc! I get so many compliments on my falsies and many of my girls are now users of these gems!

I use to live in lashes by Eylure when I worked on makeup counters a few years back but they can look way to thick and dramatic for a daily look!... I mean the lashes I wear now are pretty glam but much more natural then the big ones i use to walk around wearing!.. and yes i was a sucker for layering lashes back in my blonde over back combed headed OTT look days! haha!

If you are like me and do wear your lashes most days then it can become expensive, I mean especially if you've come home from a night out in a new set and then fallen asleep with your lashes on, crunching them up or finding one stuck too your face... ((not guilty haha)) then its going to become a pain in the butt to having to constantly keep replacing.. and I mean who wants to keep spending £5/6 on a pair of strip lashes every time.

These Gurls.... wellllllllll personally I am in love with them are the lashes I use.. and guess what.. YEP BARGAIN BITCH OVER HERE.... £1.99 from savers!!

I know Superdrug sell them for £2.99 I think but still absolute bargain beauty buy!

Now the glue it comes with isn't always the best, and I do find I have to apply glue on to the strip a few times before my first use to just to give it a slight sticky build up... So I do recommend Eylure's Glue for around £2.50 lasts ages ((until you get that fishy glue smell THROW THROW AWAY)) but it is one of the best I have used, especially as i have pretty sensitive skin, so some glues can cause me a little reaction (puffy lids) never attractive!

These a brit rocks lashes...I can't seem to find a link via superdrug for you but i do know they stock just this style of the brand in store, unless you have a savers near by too you then you can grab them there cheapppp!

But i know also Girls with attitude ((link below)) sell the same ones.. not entirely sure if this is actually the same brand, similar packaging type to the old style girls with attitude stock...

The Slinky

I am a massive fan of these Slinky dresses!... Figure hugging, affordable and always released in beaut colours!

Missguided are currently winning on the little slinky numbers!.. Various styles, colours and lengths!

^^^^^
Check them out!

Personally being small I prefer the Midi length on me as it gives my body a better shape in the dress rather than a mini slinky.

Even though the dress's are pretty clingy i find them flattering over any lumps and bumps (god damn you cellulite/Cake thighs), they don't show too many sins, which i found with the 'SCUBA' fabric - it shows up everything YUCK...

I find the dresses true to size.. I wear a size 6, even though I'm a tad chunkier round the hip/bottom area I find these dresses fit my waist better than an 8. Still the perfect clingy fit... the fabric does have a a bit of stretch so you can slide right into it!...

&& You don't have to be busty to wear the rather cleavagy ones, I think they look gorgeous on small busted girlys... even teamed up with a body chain, abit of shimmer and you are good to go Gurrrrrrrl!

Various websites you can get these dresses from are Missguided, Boohoo.com and Pretty Little Thing

I see this fabric being used everywhere now!

From dresses to 2 Piece combos.. Perfect for all Dolls shapes and sizes! <3

Glowing Skin - Completely In Love

Glowing Skin...NATASHA DENONA

Happy Tuesday Dolls

Literally just falling in LOVE with this, So had to share...

I spend most most evenings browsing YouTube... watching makeup videos picking up tips and tricks, writing endless lists of products I want and must look at and then go to have an extra research on products that really catch my eye!

I came across Natasha Denona yesterday ((OMG UNREAL))...I haven't heard of her before but the little image of this the video clip below caught my eye!

I'm a big fan of the glowy highlighted look.. only rubbish thing is that I have oily skin, so personally i find it hard to pull this off without looking like I have marinated my chops in a frying pan!

I tend to stick with powder highlighters...

but this all over dewy and glowy makeup look is beautiful!

Products on my makeup wishlist...

Face Glow Foundation

Body Glow

Check her website out girls! <3

Now I don't do the whole modelling thing any more been there done that got the t-shirt and more so... Don't get me wrong I love a good old selfie but shooting for bikinis now when I'm not as worried about my weight as i use too be (little white lie there!) is a bit daunting!

Can i just say I am on day 9 of lent! I'm not religious but i thought I would try and give my obsession, the love of my life chocolate up for 40 days! Well first few days whoaaaaa!!! Craving alert but I have since then been eating cakes instead LOL LOL... I should of given up all sweetie naughtiness to be fair! Not good for my waist line and cakes equals 'CAKE THIGHS'!

Any way I am getting a bit carried away and babbling on, getting keyboard hugging happy! Back to the actual post!

So after getting a sneak preview of them a few months before shooting I was super excited to wear them!

Now as a nutritional shake user any way in general i stepped up my game got back into a bit of a routine with a few bits of choccy here and there... kettle bell exercises and jogging home from work I felt a lot better, not perfect but lighter! Im not a skinny skinny girl,I have my curves but try and stay slim with that.. I'm only 5'4 so i carry my weight on my hips, thighs easily so having a steady diet is important to me!

Ready for bed...?!

Underwear as outerwear...!?

So I was recently browsing Daily Mail and the Doll that is Rosie Huntington-Whiteley popped up.. She was wearing a nightie at her fragrance launch and it looked unreal!.. It wasn't a 'Woah, looks shes out in her pj's' but she looked extra pretty, classy and elegant. Now personally I wouldn't wear a satin long nightie like that to bed, I don't really know anyone that does personally, but as a dress i defo give it the thumbs up and with the right shoes etc it could be a winner!

Now we all love a cheeky bralet teamed up with a pair of high waisted jeans/skirt, but i recently purchased the most gorgeous combo from asos...

THE CHARLOTTE SATIN SLIP COMBO

I got so many compliments on this little 2 piece... Its affordable and comes in 3 Gorgeous colours!

PLUM, NUDE PINK & BLACK.. a must have if your looking to embrace a bit of satin on a night out Girls!

I'm wearing a size small.

Shoes: New Look Nude Strappy Heels
Clutch Bag: Primark

Sunday 1 February 2015

Happy New Year Dolls.. yes a month too late but I promise to blog more this year!!

Just a quick post this chilly Sunday morning..

I can't believe how quick January has gone! But hey its Feb, the month of love and finally the release of the movie Fifty Shades or Grey..((Singles ladies - you have a date with the cinema this year!!))

Now I'm looking forward to seeing this film for only two reasons, as personally I found the book a tad boring but then it depends how much of a sheltered life you may of had etc..I'm not judging. It always interesting to see how they turn a book into a film and the fact it is actually a deep twisted love story. Everyone loves a love story!

I will be posting a few bits this month for you...

If your still living in struggle city with losing a few little Christmas cling on pounds, I have a easy to do at home workout plan and as affordable nutritional plan for you... post to follow.. if interested please feel free to email me lcvxxox@outlook.com
