Pre Shoot Prep!

So I am doing a little shoot for a friend on Saturday for her absolutely beautiful hand made bikinis which I will give you more information about after, and was thinking I should blog about what I do pre shoot!!

So from normally shooting in lingerie and swimwear i always have to make sure I have my body looking its best!! 

A few things I do a couple days before a shoot...

• Make sure my roots are not too visible, I always make sure my hair is fresh, being very blonde that is always important!
• Exfoliate my body all over! I always use my exfoliating mitts, with a moisturising shower gel and soap and glory's sugar scrub!!

• Moisturise! I moisturise with Aloe Vera gel.. this helps keep my skin hydrated and also helps calm any shaving bumps I get from shaving my legs!! :D smooth skin is a must!! Also moisturise on the day of a shoot it will leave your skin glowing & give off a healthy glow in photos

• I do use a fake tan but don't over do it! No one wants patchy skin and it looks unprofessional! If you check my main website lauracatherinevinicombebeauty.com you can see what tan i use and what prep goes into this!

• Manicure & Pedicure is a must!! nice hand and tootsies, go for something simple like a french paint or a neutral colour :)

• Make sure you are drinking lots of water, it will keep your skin looking amazing!

• Teeth whitening! Nothing better than having pearly whites! Being a tea drinker (herbal teas) I use the crest whitening strips.. you can get these from eBay.. but make sure your getting them from a buyer with good reviews!

• Makeup.. I am a qualified in makeup.. and very pacific to what I like so I tend too do my own makeup

• Body wise.. I am currently using Herbalife, these are the only products I have used to help me maintain my weight after using the 6 weight loss programme!! I always add extra protein powder to my Herbalife choccy shake.. this will help reduce fat and gain muscle which will get you looking toned without too much effort! As well as thermo complete which is amazing for boosting that extra bit of weight you need to come off! Surgery...

I got my boobies done when I was 19, 4 years ago now and it was the best decision I have ever made (surgery wise). I don’t regret doing it at all, I did it for me not anyone else. My boobs before were a small 32C and now are a 32E. The pain scale of 1-10 was about a 8 I'm not going to lie it does hurt!! Once you get through the first week thought it dies down to about a 2-3 on the pain scale!! My back hurt more than my boobs from sleeping upright thought to be honest!

I chose MYA to have my surgery with, and my journey was amazing! Everyone was so helpful and was there whenever I needed any advice before and after the operation. I would highly recommend my surgeon DR.Singh.. his work is amazing and listens to what you want, I have minimal scarring, very neat work!!

I cannot describe what fake boobs feel like sorry… as mine feel pretty real now!

People ask me if I've had anything else done or would I?

I get asked if my lips are my real lips!!!!! 100 Real% no fillers here but I would like a little boost just in my upper lip as i have a very full bottom lip! I have not have any other surgical procedures done to my body or face.

and i don’t believe surgery is the answer to everything...

Brunette Dream..

So I really want to go brunette by the end of this year but what shade of brunette is getting my brain into a right pickle!! I don't think I should go to dark as naturally I have fair skin and mousey brown hair so maybe a chestnut chocolate brown! HELPPPPP girls! Let me know what you think and if I should really be taking the plunge! I have been a bubble platinum blondey for 7 years now and I think its now time for a change! Maybe even a honey blonde!? Just anything to tear me away from the Barbie blonde stereo-type! 

I like to play around with wigs to get an idea of what I might look like as a brunette!!

OK Girls!.. So I am new to blogging! So you will have to give me the benefit of the doubt, that as a beginner my Blog isn't going to be amazing but I am hoping to approve along the way!!
