My Mya Story

I have already posted about this a couple years ago, but thought I would revamp and upload a new post...

I thought I would share my MYA Story as I know surgery can seem a rather daunting experience for most! It seems in the last few years this procedure is ever growing year after year, When I had mine done I was only 19 ((6 Years ago now)) and it wasn't seen as a thing to be getting done, I had loads of girls say nasty things about me which at the time being only 19 wasn't the best too deal with, but I made the decision to get them done and proudly showed them off ((prob's more than I should of)) regardless of people being mean! They soon got over it...yaa knowwww now it being 2015
it seems to be the norm thing to do,

Whether it be a new pair of boobs, fillers in lips, FILLERS IN CHEEEEEEKS I've seen recently (my face would look so odd!), a bit of botox to keep that youthful wrinkle free skin or semi perm makeup.. everyone's doing something it seems..

Now me personally I have only had my boobs done ((THE ONCE)) not 3/4/5 times as I have been accused of in the past! and I had a wonderful experience with MYA so i thought i would share it with you girls!...

This procedure, I have no regrets and I am still happy to this day with the results!

I had my consultation with one of the MYA Dolls and then after choosing to go ahead I got to meet my surgeon DR Singh, where I got the chance to discuss the procedure in full, the pre op and post op bits and bobs, I tried on a bra with different implant sizes in to see what would suit my shape and size and my current boobie size! I was a small 32C originally but more fuller at the bottom of my boobies and wanted to be slightly bigger and fuller on the top to suit my figure. So we came to the decision to go for a 525CC's, I had mine over the muscle due to already having natural breast tissue and the size of the implant.  The 525cc's post surgery gave me a cup size of 32E/F depending on bra's from various places, I am a little slimmer than I use to be so more a DD now due to obviously losing natural breast tissue when losing a few pounds.

I did my research when choosing the right place to go to have my boobs done, this was really important to me, at the time Harley Street Medical was the place to go, MYA wasn't as well known as it is now but after reading a few reviews and reading a lot about Dr Singh my mind was made up!

Now.. pain scale 1-10 for the first couple of days was about a 8 (10 being lots of pain) but I think this was a lot down to the fact I didn't take the painkillers as they made me feel pretty sick! My back was probs more in pain than my boobies as I had to sleep upright otherwise there was no way I was getting out of bed on my own!! That was a killer!! I returned to work after a week off just taking it easy, I worked on Dior Make up counter at the time so I didn't have too many strenuous tasks to do!.... I kept my sports bra on religiously for the first year. I think this is really important just to keep your boobs in place otherwise I have heard from a lot of girls that when they were slacking with the sports bra and going out without a bra due to the fact they had new boooooobs, the implants would drop a lot quicker sometimes leaving them looking lower than they should be sitting!

Remember you need to give your boobs time to heal!!!

I did have stretch marks to begin with but they say if they are more of a reddish tone they do tend to fade quickly, mine did, PHEW with the help of a bit of bio oil and I think down to the fact I liked to use a gradual moisturizing tan at the time it all helped! So not to fear if you do get them after surgery, its not a big deal, they will fade if you look after your skin.

left - pre op natural / Right - post op 3 months

I use to want to have them done bigger around the age of 21 when I went through my crazy blonde barbie stage, but so glad I didn't, I am happy with them now and actually wish I didn't have them any more but heyyyy us girls are never happy are we!?

Those eyes baby...

I have been wearing false lashes for a couple of years now. I am addicted to them, I think they enhance your eyes and make them look super pretty! I have tried every brand expensive to cheap and had nightmares with these little buggers and finding the perfect pair to suit my eye shape etc! I get so many compliments on my falsies and many of my girls are now users of these gems!

I use to live in lashes by Eylure when I worked on makeup counters a few years back but they can look way to thick and dramatic for a daily look!... I mean the lashes I wear now are pretty glam but much more natural then the big ones i use to walk around wearing!.. and yes i was a sucker for layering lashes back in my blonde over back combed headed OTT look days! haha!

If you are like me and do wear your lashes most days then it can become expensive, I mean especially if you've come home from a night out in a new set and then fallen asleep with your lashes on, crunching them up or finding one stuck too your face... ((not guilty haha)) then its going to become a pain in the butt to having to constantly keep replacing.. and I mean who wants to keep spending £5/6 on a pair of strip lashes every time.

These Gurls.... wellllllllll personally I am in love with them are the lashes I use.. and guess what.. YEP BARGAIN BITCH OVER HERE.... £1.99 from savers!!

I know Superdrug sell them for £2.99 I think but still absolute bargain beauty buy!

Now the glue it comes with isn't always the best, and I do find I have to apply glue on to the strip a few times before my first use to just to give it a slight sticky build up... So I do recommend Eylure's Glue for around £2.50 lasts ages ((until you get that fishy glue smell THROW THROW AWAY)) but it is one of the best I have used, especially as i have pretty sensitive skin, so some glues can cause me a little reaction (puffy lids) never attractive!

These a brit rocks lashes...I can't seem to find a link via superdrug for you but i do know they stock just this style of the brand in store, unless you have a savers near by too you then you can grab them there cheapppp!

But i know also Girls with attitude ((link below)) sell the same ones.. not entirely sure if this is actually the same brand, similar packaging type to the old style girls with attitude stock...

The Slinky

I am a massive fan of these Slinky dresses!... Figure hugging, affordable and always released in beaut colours!

Missguided are currently winning on the little slinky numbers!.. Various styles, colours and lengths!

^^^^^
Check them out!

Personally being small I prefer the Midi length on me as it gives my body a better shape in the dress rather than a mini slinky.

Even though the dress's are pretty clingy i find them flattering over any lumps and bumps (god damn you cellulite/Cake thighs), they don't show too many sins, which i found with the 'SCUBA' fabric - it shows up everything YUCK...

I find the dresses true to size.. I wear a size 6, even though I'm a tad chunkier round the hip/bottom area I find these dresses fit my waist better than an 8. Still the perfect clingy fit... the fabric does have a a bit of stretch so you can slide right into it!...

&& You don't have to be busty to wear the rather cleavagy ones, I think they look gorgeous on small busted girlys... even teamed up with a body chain, abit of shimmer and you are good to go Gurrrrrrrl!

Various websites you can get these dresses from are Missguided, Boohoo.com and Pretty Little Thing

I see this fabric being used everywhere now!

From dresses to 2 Piece combos.. Perfect for all Dolls shapes and sizes! <3

Glowing Skin - Completely In Love

Glowing Skin...NATASHA DENONA

Happy Tuesday Dolls

Literally just falling in LOVE with this, So had to share...

I spend most most evenings browsing YouTube... watching makeup videos picking up tips and tricks, writing endless lists of products I want and must look at and then go to have an extra research on products that really catch my eye!

I came across Natasha Denona yesterday ((OMG UNREAL))...I haven't heard of her before but the little image of this the video clip below caught my eye!

I'm a big fan of the glowy highlighted look.. only rubbish thing is that I have oily skin, so personally i find it hard to pull this off without looking like I have marinated my chops in a frying pan!

I tend to stick with powder highlighters...

but this all over dewy and glowy makeup look is beautiful!

Products on my makeup wishlist...

Face Glow Foundation

Body Glow

Check her website out girls! <3
